Michael English will be performing in Adare in a special fundraising concert

A FESTIVE NIGHT of music, community spirit, and charitable giving awaits in Adare this Christmas season.

A special fundraising concert will be taking place on Thursday, December 11 at the Holy Trinity Abbey Church.

Organised by Mary Fitzgerald of the Woodlands Hotel, the event will raise much-needed funds for the upkeep and repair of the historic church, one of the village’s most cherished architectural landmarks.

Renowned Irish entertainer Michael English will headline the evening, bringing his unmistakable charm and uplifting musical style to the atmospheric surrounds of the Abbey.

Known for his blend of country and Irish favourites, Michael is set to deliver a heart-warming seasonal performance.

Concert-goers can expect a rich repertoire ranging from some of his most-loved hits to traditional Irish classics and a selection of Christmas songs guaranteed to bring festive joy.

Adding to the magic of the night will be a specially formed children’s choir, featuring pupils from four local Adare schools.
Their participation promises to bring a touch of harmony, and community pride to the event.

The Abbey, a historic and spiritual centrepiece in Adare, relies on such community-driven initiatives to preserve its beauty and heritage for future generations.

Tickets are selling fast, and with seating limited within the church, so early booking is advised.

For tickets and further information, the public can contact the Adare Parish Office on 061 396172, the Woodlands Hotel on 061 605100, or visit www.woodlands-hotel.ie.
