Following sold-out international tours, the beloved trio will headline Live at the Docklands on August 20, 2026
A MAJOR concert has been announced for Limerick next summer, as one of Ireland’s fastest-rising folk acts is set to headline Live at the Docklands next summer.
On Thursday, August 20, 2026, folk trio Amble will make a much-anticipated return to Limerick, performing for their devoted audience.
Following a whirlwind year of sold-out shows across Europe and North America, including a triumphant night at King John’s Castle in 2025, the acclaimed West-of-Ireland trio will return to the city for what promises to be a powerful and emotional celebration of their journey so far.

Known for their spellbinding harmonies, poetic storytelling, and raw acoustic sound, the group has amassed more than 100 million streams and built an international fanbase with songs such as “Mariner Boy,” “Mary’s Pub,” and “Lonely Island.”
Their debut album, Reverie, was recorded live together in a circle to capture their intimate, organic energy.
Speaking at the announcement, Mick Dolan said: “We are delighted to announce Amble as the first act for Live at the Docklands 2026. Their sold-out King John’s Castle show last year was a landmark moment, and seeing their journey from those early days to worldwide stages has been incredible. Amble brings a rare sincerity and connection to their performances, this Docklands show will be something truly special.”
