MOTORISTS are being urged to exercise caution following heavy showers of hail this Thursday afternoon.
Several motorists have taken to social media with some warning of treacherous conditions in different parts of the city and county.
One driver described the weather in the Roxboro area as ‘crazy’.

While there are no weather warnings in place, Met Éireann says there will be further wintry showers for the remainder of the day with a risk of thunder in places.
