ALERT: Storm Bram weather warning update issued by Met Éireann as winds prevail
Met Éireann has extended its Status Orange Wind warning for a number of counties across Ireland.
It's currently in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, and Waterford.
It was originally meant to be in place until 3pm, but Met Éireann has extended it to 4pm.
A separate Status Orange Wind warning is in place for Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, and Connacht.

That one is valid until 7pm today.
A third Orange Wind warning is in place for Donegal and a Yellow one is in place for the whole country.
Both of those will remain in place until 9pm.

Strong and damaging winds are continuing across the country with many coastal counties being flooded.
Storm Bram is expected to bring further strong to gale force winds, with impacts including difficult travelling conditions, fallen trees and debris, and disruption and cancellations to transport services and events.
ESB Networks is highlighting the dangers posed by fallen live wires and is advising the public and the emergency services to stay away from these fallen cables and to report such cases immediately.
With a Status Red Marine warning in place until 3pm and winds strongest in coastal areas, the public is advised to stay away from coastal areas and adhere the Irish Coast Guards advice to “Stay Back, Stay High, Stay Dry”.
