TONIGHT, rain will clear to the northeast. Showery rain will follow from the west overnight. Lowest temperatures 10 or 11 degrees with moderate westerly winds
Early on MONDAY, showery rain will clear to the east to give a bright, fresh day with sunshine and showers, which will spread eastwards and turn heavier and more frequent in the afternoon. Highest temperatures 14 to 16 degrees with moderate to fresh westerly winds.
On MONDAY NIGHT, showers will gradually become confined to Ulster. Clear spells elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with moderate to fresh west to southwest winds, becoming strong on Ulster coasts.
On TUESDAY, rain will spread northeastwards to all areas and will be heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees with moderate to fresh west to southwest winds.
On TUESDAY NIGHT rain will clear with clear spells and showers following. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees with southwesterly winds strengthening.
WEDNESDAY morning will be blustery with sunshine and showers. The afternoon will be windy with more persistent rain developing in Connacht and Ulster and with southwest winds increasing fresh to strong and gusty. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees.
On WEDNESDAY NIGHT, rain will continue in the west and north. Drier further east. Winds will ease somewhat overnight. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees.
THURSDAY will bring rain or showers, heaviest over the northern half of the country. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with fresh southwest winds.
FRIDAY will be cool and breezy with sunshine and showers. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with moderate northwest breezes.
The weather will continue unsettled next weekend.
