A CAHERDAVIN man will appear in the final showdown of the Great Irish Bake Off’s premier season, this Thursday night on TV3, writes Fintan Walsh.
William De Korte, 29, who works as a full-time data manager in a law firm, was the only Munster contestant to participate in the show.
He said he had no interest in being a contestant in the first place, but his girlfriend encouraged him to apply.
“I will have to obviously up my game and prove to everyone that I am on the show for a reason. I will have to concentrate and focus on whatever I am making on the day,” he said.
