Kilmallock man and Traitors Ireland star, Paudie Moloney
LIMERICK man Paudie Moloney might be a cold-blooded Traitor, but when it comes to hugging? Absolutely not.
On The Traitors Ireland, a simple embrace turned into the deadliest task yet — one Paudie hilariously refused to carry out.
Host Siobhán McSweeney challenged traitors Nick and Paudie to commit murder out in the open in last night's episode. The piseóg (curse as gaeilge), had to be delivered in the form of a farewell hug. Rather than don their traitor capes and submit a name, as has been the custom, Nick and Paudie were required to place a piseog on one of their unsuspecting fellow contestants.
Kilmallock native Paudie left Nick to carry out the deed, saying: “I'm not being smart here, but I am not a ******* hugger.”

Cork woman and faithful Christine actually instigated a hug with Nick, sealing her fate.
IT analyst and fellow faithful Mark was also murdered in last night's episode and faithful Patrick was banished following the roundtable as the majority of players thought he was a traitor.
Earlier in the episode, Paudie opted to recruit Nick as a traitor, blackmailing him to join him in the conclave as Nick's options were to either accept Paudie's invitation to become a traitor or be murdered.
Meanwhile, the contestants secured another €3,000 for the prize pot which now stands at €26,900 following a successful mission. For this mission, half of the contestants had to enter the forest and listen to the “sound of the spirits”.
They then had to run to a phone box where they mimicked this sound for the other team, who were tasked with locating a doll inside the castle who sings the same song.
