FOUR Treaty United players have been included in this week's SSE Airtricity League of Ireland First Division Team of the Week.

The Shannonsiders picked up their first three points of the season last Friday against an Athlone Town side who have made an impressive start to their First Division campaign.

Goals from Ben Feeney and Cian Curtis ensured a 2-0 win for Treaty last weekend and the team's efforts have been recognised in this week's Team of the Week.

Striker Ben Feeney, who opened the scoring against the Midlanders, has been included in the team as well as midfielder Jevonate Layne, defender Ben Lynch and goalkeeper Jack Brady.

Treaty will be looking to make it two wins in-a-row on Friday when they travel to Ferrycarrig Park to face Wexford FC at 7.45pm.

The Treaty United Women's side were also successful in picking up their first win of the season over Munster rivals Waterford FC last weekend at the Markets Field.
