The Shannonsiders are yet to register a point in their opening two games of the League of Ireland First Division season following narrow 1-0 defeats to Cork City on the opening night and Bray Wanderers on Friday night last at the Markets Field.
Treaty were unlucky not to come away from Turners Cross with at least a point in their opening tie of the season, a Ruairí Keating stoppage-time effort breaking Treaty hearts on Leeside.
Tommy Barrett's charges welcomed Bray Wanderers to the Markets Field for the club's first home game of the season last Friday and were again edged out by that 1-0 margin.
Treaty will be hoping to kick-start their season tonight when they travel to Dublin to face a UCD side who have endured a mixed bag of results in their opening two fixtures.
The college side got the better of Colin Healy's Kerry FC on opening night, winning 2-1 at The Bowl.
However, they could not keep that winning momentum going in their second outing of the season, losing 2-1 to Finn Harps in Donegal on Friday last.
Treaty and UCD played out two draws at The Bowl last season, the games ending 0-0 and 1-1 respectively.
Treaty were able to get the better of their Dublin-based opponents at the Markets Field however, Barrett's side recording 4-0 and 1-0 victories.
Treaty United boss Tommy Barrett disagreed with an early refereeing decision in the Bray Wanderers defeat but wasn’t using it as an excuse for the result.
Bray defender Mark Chidi appeared to deny debutant Jevontae Layne a goalscoring opportunity two minutes in.
"It was a sending off, it could have been a penalty as well I don’t know, it might have been outside (the box).
"It is what it is, again the game is different, but it hasn’t been now so we’ve got to take it on the chin and we’ve got to do better.
"You still have 80 odd minutes. It’s 0-0, we still have to do better and see out the game as a draw at the minimum.
"UCD is always a tough place to go, we have to go up there and grind out a result, it’s just about getting results on the board now," he said.
