Treaty United's pre-season preparations continue with Munster Senior Cup clash

TREATY UNITED'S pre-season preparations continue as Tommy Barrett's charges gear up for a Munster Senior Cup clash with Ringmahon Rangers of Cork tonight.

Treaty travel to Ringmahon Park tonight with kick-off is at 7.45pm in Ringmahon.

Treaty already have two friendlies under their belt this month, a 2-0 loss to Galway United at Frank Healy Park on Friday last and a meeting with Munster rivals Kerry FC on Tuesday night in Ballingarry, which the Super Blues won 4-2.

Treaty will then play Premier Division Sligo Rovers on Saturday January 17, at United Park in Westport, kick-off is at 2pm.

It has been a busy winter period for the Shannonsiders in terms of incomings and outgoings at the club.

There have been a number of new faces recruited to date as Treaty prepare for the upcoming Men's First Division season. The latest player to join the ranks at the club is goalkeeper Kevin Fitzpatrick from UCC.

Manager Tommy Barrett is delighted to bring Fitzpatrick in ahead of the 2026 campaign. "He’s a new goalkeeper from UCC who brings a big presence. Kevin has a lot of potential and will compete with Jack."

Treaty begin their First Division season on Friday, February 13 against Cork City at Turners Cross before welcoming Bray Wanderers to the Markets Field a week later. Bray are the team who ended Treaty's promotion play-off hopes last year.
