Treaty United have to announced the re-signing of Laura O’Neill ahead of the 2026 Women's Premier Division season.

The Limerick native joins back for her third season at the Markets Field. The midfielder comes off the back of a season after making 12 appearances for the club and grabbing an assist in all competitions.
O’Neill began her football journey with Caherdavin Celtic before moving onto Coonagh United and Murroe AFC Ladies. She also boasts an impressive underage career, captaining the U18 Limerick Women’s and Schoolgirls’ Soccer League squad and also being a part of the Republic of Ireland U17 and U19 training camps.
O’Neill is also a multi-talented athlete, having played camogie for Limerick for nine years and also with her club, Na Piarsaigh.
Speaking to Treaty United, O’Neill said – "I’m delighted to be re-signing with Treaty United Women for another season. It is a team that has so much potential and that I really enjoy being part of. As a local, I’m really proud to represent this club and I’m looking forward to the season ahead."
Manager Laurie Ryan also commented on Laura O’Neill’s signing – "I’m delighted that Laura has committed to Treaty for the year ahead, she’s a leader within the group and I am excited to see her development in 2026."
