TREATY UNITED are looking to get back to winning ways when they welcome Bohemians to the Markets Field in the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division.

Saturday afternoon's game at the Garryowen venue got the green light to go ahead after the venue passed a pitch inspection following recent heavy rain.

Treaty United are without a win in their last three games, losing back-to back league games as well as an FAI Cup semi-final loss to today's opponents.

Treaty will be looking to get back on track in what has been a record-breaking season for the Garryowen side, having accumulated their highest-ever points total in a single Premier Division season.

Currently sitting on 32 points in seventh position, the Limerick-based side can leap-frog their north Dublin opponents who sit in fifth position on 33 points.

A win for Treaty would provide a boost of positivity around the club, having parted ways with head coach Sean Russell earlier this week.

Russell was appointed to the role last October and Treaty United extended its 'sincere thanks to Sean for his contributions to the women’s programme.’

“Sean has been a valued member of our club and has played an important role in building standards for our women’s side on and off the pitch,” said Ciara McCormack, CEO, Treaty United FC.

The club have also confirmed that Dave Rooney will take charge of the final two games of the Women's Premier Division season.

Kick-off at the Markets Field is at 3pm.
