TREATY UNITED'S SSE Airtricity Men's First Division tie with Longford Town has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

The Shannonsiders were due to take on Longford at the Markets Field with a 7.45pm kick-off.
However, following a pitch inspection this morning, the decision was made to postpone the First Division clash.
"Tonight’s SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division fixture between Treaty United and Longford Town has been postponed after a pitch inspection failed at Markets Field this morning amid yellow weather warnings and heavy rainfall in the area," read a statement from the League of Ireland.
The league also confirmed that the match has been re-scheduled for Sunday, October 5 with a kick-of time of 4pm.
