PICTURES: Treaty United supporters cheer on women's side against Ferns United

Treaty recorded an 8-0 win over the Wexford side in the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup at the Markets Field

TREATY United powered their way into the quarter-finals of the Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup after scoring a runaway 8-0 first round victory over Ferns United at the Markets Field on last Saturday.

Treaty United produced a dominant performance, with Ciara Breslin scoring twice early on, Aibhlinn Cotter added a stunning free-kick, and substitute Kate Lee made it 4-0 soon after halftime. Sirena Celebrini netted her first senior goal, Amy Tierney added a sixth, Cotter grabbed her second, and an own goal from Hayley Nolan sealed a comprehensive 8-0 win for Treaty United.

The Treaty United Women's side have been drawn against DLR Waves in the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup.
