Treaty United learn their FAI Cup quarter-final fate

The Treaty United Women's side have been drawn against DLR Waves in the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup.

Sean Russell's side ensured themselves a safe passage into the last eight with a resounding 8-0 victory over Ferns United of Wexford.

Treaty United defeated Ferns 9-0 in the first round of last season's Women's FAI Cup at the Markets Field.

The Shannonsiders will face-off with DLR Waves, who defeated Sligo Rovers in the previous round, on the week ending  August 17 for a spot in the semi-finals. 

The other three ties in the quarter-finals include a Dublin derby between Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne, Newbridge Town have been pitted against Bohemians and Peamount United will face Athlone Town.
