Treaty could’ve scored as early as the third minute. Robbie Lynch connected with Karl O’Sullivan’s corner kick but saw his downward header saved by UCD goalkeeper Dara Kavanagh.

The visitors almost took the lead on 27 minutes. Michael McCullagh outmanoeuvred Evan O’Connor before finding Michael Raggett with a delightful cross; Raggett’s looping header was off the target.

Eight minutes later, Treaty broke the deadlock; Lee Devitt bagged his seventh goal of the season.

Mark Byrne teed up the midfielder who found the net with a low first-time shot inside the box.

Carl Williams was deputising for Corey Chambers in goals and produced two saves against his former club within three minutes of the restart.

Firstly he dived low to deny Jake Doyle before producing a fantastic fingertip save to keep out Michael McCullagh’s spectacular curling shot.

Six minutes later, UCD were down to ten men. Niall Holohan brought down Karl O’Sullivan inside the box and was adjudged to have denied him a goal scoring opportunity.

O’Sullivan scored his first goal for Treaty by converting the resultant penalty kick and sending Kavanagh the wrong way.

Treaty went 3-0 up as Devitt bagged his second goal on the night and his eighth of the season.

Trpimir Vrljičak played in the Treaty midfielder inside the box who found the net from a slight angle.

UCD fashioned a rare opportunity from a free-kick ten minutes from time. Ciaran Behan hit the woodwork from 20 yards out.
