However, Glin got their noses in front again when Jamie Moloney netted right on half time.

Broadford settled into the game and with Jack Pierce and Michael Brosnan probing in the middle of the park they began to get some decent possession.
This resulted in some decent chances from Alan Fitzpatrick and Diarmuid Ryan with the latter also rattling the crossbar.
Like the opening half Glin also struck early in the second half when a corner by Sheagh O’Connor crept past Gearoid Greaney in the Broadford goal. The remaining half was nip and tuck with both sides creating a number of chances but it was Glin that advance and a date with Rathkeale on Friday, December 9th in Mick Hanley Park, Clounreask.

Tiernan Meaney opened the scoring in the first half and they held this lead to half time. It was all one way traffic in the second half as a Ciaran McMahon brace put Dromore firmly in control. Two goals from Sean Hartigan either side of McMahons third rounded off a polished display by the visitors.
The final is pencilled in for Thursday, December 8th in Mick Hanley Park, Clounreask

Premier Division
Broadford Utd finally got to play a league fixture after having played in various cup competitions and they were denied the three points after a very late equalizer away to Kilcornan. Ray Lynch put Broadford ahead in the first minute following a corner and we had to wait until the seventy fifth minute for the next goal when Mark Curran equalized for Kilcornan.
Within a minute the evergreen Lynch put Broadford back in front but with virtually the last kick of the game Conor Staff equalized again for the hosts.
Breska Rovers fell to their first defeat in the premier division with a three one loss against Ballingarry on Sunday morning. Darragh O’Sullivan gave Breska an early lead with Declan Nash levelling to leave it all square at half time. In the second half Ballingarry made their possession count with goals from Adam Hickey and Kevin Forde to take the points on offer.
Creeves Celtic were away to Granagh Utd and were leading three two late on when the game was abandoned when unfortunately, Granaghs Sean Murphy broke his leg.
Division 1
With leaders Athea Utd not in action again this week it gave the chasing sides opportunities to close the gap but they made only minimal inroads on the leaders. In Ashford it finished scoreless between second placed St Itas and Shountrade, a result that doesn’t really help either side at either side of the table.
Third in the table Askeaton had Newcastle West Town Reserves as visitors to Pairc Eas Geitne and they got a tonic start when a Pete Harty brace had them two goals to the good. The Reserves bounced back to be level by half time with a brace from Saoirse Joyce, the first of these from the penalty spot.
Into the second half and the experienced Tony Quaid nudged the Reserves ahead for the first time with the in-form Charlie Power then adding a fourth. There was a nervy finish for the Reserves though when they had two players sent off in the last ten minutes or so but dug deep to eventually grind out the win.
It was honours even in Pallaskenry as Dromore Utd and Shannonside shared the spoils in a two all draw in a game that had plenty late excitement. Shannonside were a goal to the good at half time through Mike Sillery with Ryan Kelly equalizing for the home side early in the second half.
Then came the late drama. Martin Fitzgerald from the penalty spot put Shannonside back in front in the ninetieth minute but still more drama as Ciaran Galvin got a last gasp leveller for Dromore.
Division 2
Leaders Glin Rovers dropped points for the first time this season but still remain unbeaten after a one all draw away to Knockaderry. Cillian Ryan put Knockaderry ahead when he lobbed the keeper from thirty yards with Glin levelling five minutes from the interval when Cian Culhane scored from twenty five yards. Chances were at a premium after the break thus resulting in no further goals.
Division 3
Feenagh climb the table to join Carrig Celtic on seven points after a four tree win at home to4 Broadford Utd B. Ger O'Gorman and Cian O'Connor put Feenagh two up with Broadford reducing the gap before half time through Paul Madigan. Into the second half and a second from O’Connor stretched the home sides lead before two goals from Graham Roche and Martin Daly had the away side level but winger Luke Ryan won it for Feenagh late on.
Youths Division 3
In youths’ division three Askeaton made it three wins from three with a come from behind win away to Rathkeale. Johnny Fitzgerald had given Rathkeale a first half lead but goals in the second half for the visitors from Aron Kelly and Aaron McCarthy sees them maintain their 100% league record.
Speedy Recovery
The Limerick Desmond Football League would like to wish Granagh Utd’s Sean Murphy a very speedy recovery from the injury he sustained at home to Creeves Celtic last Sunday.
