Munster Junior League champions Newcastle West are in All-Ireland Junior Cup action this Saturday
TWO Limerick clubs are looking to secure places in the semi-finals of the Energia All-Ireland Junior Cup this Saturday afternoon.
Both Newcastle West and Thomond RFC face away ties at the last eight stage of the competition this weekend.
Munster Junior League champions Newcastle West make the long trip north to take on Ballyclare in the All Ireland Junior Cup quarter-finals at The Claughan, Ballyclare at 2.30pm.
Thomond RFC travel to Dublin to take on Monkstown at Park Avenue also at 2.30pm in their last eight fixture.
Provincial champions Newcastle West edged out Connemara 15-11, thanks to tries from Sean Murphy and Alan O’Riordan, in the opening round of this season's All-Ireland Junior Cup.

Their quarter-final opponents, Kukri Ulster Rugby Championship Division 1 side Ballyclare, overcame the wet conditions to run out impressive 37-0 winners over Ashbourne in their opening round fixture.
A Ryan Hogg-inspired Thomond side came from 18-5 down to beat Westport 31-28 in a thrilling finish at Carrowholly in their first round fixture in the All-Ireland Junior Cup.
Thomond's quarter-final opponents Monkstown prevailed 31-10 against fast-starting Castlebar in their previous outing in the competition.
