LIMERICK remain in pole position in the Allianz Hurling League following a sparkling 2-18 to 0-15 round three win over Kilkenny.

Leading by 14-points at one stage, John Kiely's Limerick are now all but assured of a March 9/10 league quarter final spot ahead of the two remaining group games with Cork and Clare.
Limerick had eight different scorers in the win over The Cats with Aaron Gillane again in fine form and notching nine points.
