Action from Garryowen's recent Bateman Cup semi-final clash with Lansdowne at Dooradoyle
THE 2019 Bateman Cup final featuring Garryowen and City of Armagh will take place in Dublin in April.
It had been expected that the fixture would be staged at either Garryowen’s Dooradoyle Grounds or City of Armagh’s Palace Grounds.
However, City of Armagh confirmed this Tuesday that the final will be played at St Mary’s RFCs Templeville Road grounds on Saturday, April 20 with a provisional kick-off time of 2.30pm.
The start time for the decider could change depending on whether Munster or Ulster are involved in the Heineken Champions Cup semi-finals that day.
Garryowen earned their place in this season’s Bateman Cup final by defeating Lansdowne in a hard fought semi-final at Dooradoyle earlier this month.
