Limerick Racecourse has today announced that Matchbook Betting Exchange will be the new sponsor of their Grade 1 Novice Chase on St Stephen’s Day.
The Matchbook Betting Exchange Grade 1 Novice Chase is the feature race on St. Stephen’s Day, the opening day of the iconic four day Mr Binman Christmas Racing Festival. The race, over a distance of 2 miles and 3½ furlongs, has been won by subsequent Grade 1 winners Sir Des Champs, Gilgamboa, Outlander and Bellshill in recent years and is the only Grade 1 race in Munster. The Matchbook Betting Exchange Grade 1 Novice Chase will be shown live on RTE television on St Stephen's Day.
