Former Munster second row Gerbrandt Grobler in action against Leinster last season returns to Thomond Park with Gloucester this Saturday
FORMER Munster second-row Gerbrandt Grobler has opened up about his decision to take steroids which resulted in two-year ban from rugby in 2014 whilst playing for Western Province.
Twenty sive-year-old Grobler returns to Thomond Park this weekend as part of the Gloucester squad for their Heineken Champions Cup Pool 2 fixture this Saturday, 1pm.
In a newspaper interview, Grobler reveals that he ‘lost everything – my house, my car, my friends, my job’ as a result of the ban.
