Referee confirmed for Munster's Champions Cup semi-final

JP Doyle will referee Munster's Champions Cup semi-final with Racing 92 in Bordeaux

DUBLIN-BORN referee JP Doyle is to take charge of Munster’s mammoth Champions Cup semi-final fixture with Racing 92 in Bordeaux on Sunday week.

Munster will take on the French Top 14 side at the Stade Chaban Delmas on Sunday, April 22 at 3.15pm Irish time.

Referee Doyle is affiliated with the RFU. The 38-year-old also took charge of Munster’s home pool Champions Cup clash with Racing 92 at Thomond Park in October.

That game ended in a 14-7 victory for the Irish province.

Meanwhile, Irish referee John Lacey will referee the Challenge Cup semi-final meeting of Cardiff Blues and Pau in Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday, April 21.
