Schools Cup clash of Crescent and Glenstal which was postponed due to snow has been re-fixed

The Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup semi-final meeting of Crescent College and Glenstal Abbey has been postponed

THE Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup semi-final meeting of Crescent College and Glenstal Abbey postponed from today, Wednesday, due to the adverse weather, has been refixed

The game had been due to take place at the Markets Field on Wednesday afternoon.

Munster Rugby confirmed this Wednesday morning that following an inspection, today's Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup semi-final between @SjCrescent & @GlenstalRugby at Markets Field is called off due to weather & postponed for a future date.

Munster Rugby subsequently announced that the game has been refixed for Monday next, March 5, at the Markets Field at 2pm

Crescent College Comprehensive reached the semi-finals on the back of an exciting win over Rockwell College, while Glenstal Abbey saw off Bandon Grammar School in their last eight last.

Wednesday’s second semi-final between PBC and CBC which had been due to take place at Musgrave Park has also been postponed due to snow.

The final of the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup is due to take place on Sunday, March 18.
