Danny Rose earned Barrow a shock 2-1 comeback win over SkyBet League Two leaders Bromley to move them off the bottom of the table.
Rose’s 67th-minute strike ended Bromley’s 21-game unbeaten run towards the fourth-tier title.
There was no sign of the drama to follow when midfielder Ashley Charles curled in a 20-yard free kick after 35 minutes to put Andy Woodman’s side in front.
Barrow had not won in their previous eight games and another defeat looked likely.
Instead, they produced a stunning second-half performance. Josh Gordon netted his seventh goal of the season to equalise after 56 minutes, turning in Connor Mahoney’s shot.
Wyll Stanway then made crucial saves from Nicke Kabamba and Marcus Dinanga before Rose came up with his priceless winner.
It could have been an even bigger win for the Cumbrians, who scored twice at home for the first time since last November.
Gordon missed a one-on-one with Grant Smith while the visiting keeper saved from Rekeem Harper and Jack Earing before Gordon headed over.
