Gateshead further boosted their National League survival prospects by beating Yeovil 2-1 at Gateshead International Stadium.
Second-half goals from Keaton Ward and Mark Beck helped the Heed move five points clear of the relegation zone and make it one defeat in eight games.
Ward, who opened the scoring in the huge home win over title-chasing York in midweek, again broke the deadlock, this time from the penalty spot in the 65th minute following a Jake Wannell handball.
Beck doubled their advantage eight minutes later, heading home Zak Gilsenan’s cross at the back post, picking up where he left off after a month out of the side to notch his third goal in five matches.
Yeovil’s misery was compounded by Finn Cousin-Dawson’s dismissal in stoppage time but they were still able to net a consolation through Kyle Ferguson.
