Kyle McAllister double helps Forest Green to comeback win at Eastleigh

Forest Green hit back from two goals down to beat Eastleigh 4-2 in the Enterprise National League.

Harvey Saunders opened the scoring in the 22nd minute and he doubled the Spitfires’ lead 10 minutes later, calmly beating goalkeeper Harry Isted.

However, D’Mani Mellor gave Robbie Savage’s visitors hope just before half-time when he beat goalkeeper Josh McNamara from eight yards.

Kyle McAllister levelled matters in the 52nd minute from the penalty spot, after Nick Haughton had been fouled.

Two minutes after Isted had saved a penalty from Lloyd Humphries, McAllister found the corner in the 66th minute, before Haughton’s added-time effort sealed a satisfying comeback win for the play-off contenders.
