Kabongo Tshimanga scored in the closing stages to give Barnet their first win in four games with a 1-0 victory over Accrington.
Idris Kanu sent a long ball forward on 81 minutes and striker Tshimanga shrugged off the defence and lobbed goalkeeper Ollie Wright.
Barnet bossed the chances against a depleted Stanley side who could only name four outfield substitutes.
The Bees had the ball in the net in the first minute but Tshimanga’s close-range strike was ruled offside.
Ryan Glover had a couple of opportunities, with his low free-kick pushed away by Wright on 29 minutes and a fierce shot which was deflected onto the crossbar on 38 minutes.
Barnet keeper Cieran Slicker did have to be at his best to keep out Charlie Brown and Seamus Conneely’s first-half strikes for Stanley but they could not threaten after the break as the Bees continued to be on top.
Callum Stead’s goalbound strike was blocked, Glover’s long-range shot was inches wide and Wright denied both Nnamdi Ofoborh and Glover in the latter stages.
Then popped up Tshimanga for his 10th goal of the season.
