Joe Garner scored one and made one as Oldham Athletic stretched their unbeaten run to six games after coming back from behind to beat Cheltenham Town 2-1.
Oldham made the brighter start, but after Garner missed two headers from corners, Cheltenham grew into the game and took the lead.
Donervon Daniels brought down Jake Bickerstaff in the box and the referee had no hesitation in pointing to the spot, with Jordan Thomas beating goalkeeper Mat Hudson from 12 yards in the 26th minute.
The Robins pushed for a second and Thomas was unlucky to flick a header over from George Nurse’s cross.
Oldham took advantage of their let-off to equalise in the 45th minute, when Garner met Ryan Woods’ corner with a bullet header at the far right post.
After starting the second half on the front foot, Garner turned provider, heading down substitute Mike Fondop’s cross for Kai Payne to finish.
Cheltenham had chances to equalise but Hudson’s efforts ensured Oldham registered their first double of the season.
