Wycombe secured their first victory in four games with a 2-0 triumph over AFC Wimbledon 2-0 at Adams Park.
A goal in each half did the damage for the Chairboys, courtesy of Junior Quitirna and Niall Huggins.
It was a positive start for the hosts, who nearly took the lead on five minutes when Taylor Allen, who was making his first start since the League Cup clash against Fulham in October, crashed the underside of the crossbar on the volley.
Wanderers did not have to wait too long for the opener. Fred Onyedinma did brilliantly on the left, beating three players to reach the touchline before his drag-back found Quitirna, who swept home his third of the season on 12 minutes.
The Dons rarely threatened. Matty Stevens had their best chance midway through the first half, but fired wide of Will Norris’ goal.
Caolan Boyd-Munce forced Nathan Bishop into two good saves either side of the break, with the former Wycombe keeper also doing well to deny Onyedinma.
The home victory was then wrapped up on 67 minutes when substitute Huggins scored his first Wycombe goal.
The on-loan Sunderland man latched onto a superb pass by Jamie Mullins and placed it beyond Bishop from close range.
