Six Scottish Professional Football League matches have been called off after Arctic air caused Scotland’s temperatures to plunge.
Cove Rangers v Montrose and Elgin City v East Kilbride were called off because of heavy snow.
The Dunfermline Athletic and Ross County match on Saturday has also been postponed because of a frozen pitch, alongside Hamilton Academical v East Fife and Stirling Albion v Annan Athletic.
The SPFL said the Spartans v Dumbarton match would go ahead following a pitch inspection, while an update is expected soon for a pitch inspection for the Ayr United v Queen’s Park game.
It comes as most of Scotland is under either yellow or amber warnings for snow and ice, with some of the warnings to last until noon on Monday.
Cold Arctic air has also caused the country’s temperatures to drop to well below freezing, while snow has prompted train cancellations in the north of the country.
