Rowan Scott will join David Egan as a retained rider to the Amo Racing operation throughout the 2026 season.
The jockey is already well acquainted with Kia Joorabchian’s racing enterprise, riding Hollywood Treasure to success in the Listed St Hugh’s Stakes at Newbury this season for Amo and their salaried trainer Kevin Philippart De Foy.
The partnership will now become more regular and formalised via a retainer, with Scott and Egan forming a team to which Amo can turn throughout the 2026 season.
Scott said: “I’m really looking forward to the year ahead with Amo Racing. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the team last season and we were able to achieve some good results together.
“Working alongside David has been great, and I’m excited to build on that success with the opportunity to ride some very nice horses as the team continues to grow. I also want to thank Nigel (Tinkler) for all the support he has shown me.”
Joorabchian, founder of Amo Racing said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Rowan formally joining us.
“Over the last few seasons, he has become a growing and increasingly important member of the team. A person we’ve been able to rely on.
“He has delivered some excellent performances. Always dedicated and professional, he fully deserves this contract, and we’re very much looking forward to what the future holds together as we continue to build the Amo Racing team.
“I would also like to thank Nigel Tinkler, who has been a great support to Rowan and has given his blessing for him to take this next step in his career.”
Egan added: “I have known Rowan ever since I moved to England. We work very well together, he’s a great person, a very talented rider and an asset to Amo, it’s great to have him officially part of the team.”
