Jack Muldoon’s late equaliser earned Harrogate a 1-1 draw and extended Barnet’s winless league run to six games.
Britt Assombalonga gave the hosts the lead inside 23 minutes with a low-driving shot, but they failed to extend it after Mark Shelton saw his penalty saved by Harrogate goalkeeper James Belshaw. Muldoon’s late strike ensured both sides shared the spoils.
Harrogate started brightly and nearly opened the scoring inside eight minutes when Bryn Morris set up Conor McAleny, whose curling effort went into the side-netting.
Four minutes later, McAleny had another close-range attempt, but Barnet goalkeeper Cieran Slicker produced a superb save.
Midway through the half, Belshaw denied Assombalonga at the far post, only for the striker to capitalise on a poor clearance moments later to fire Barnet ahead.
Just before half-time, Idris Kanu was fouled in the box, but Shelton’s penalty was saved by Belshaw before Muldoon struck.
