Super-sub Gideon Kodua scored a late equaliser as Luton earned a 1-1 draw with 10-man Bolton at Kenilworth Road.
The visitors took a deserved lead after eight minutes when Jordi Osei-Tutu’s cross saw Kyle Dempsey take a touch and fire into the bottom corner.
Luton offered little until the 28th minute when Liam Walsh sliced over the bar.
He had another effort deflect narrowly wide while Jacob Brown’s cross hit Jerry Yates and unluckily flew off target from a yard out.
After the break, the visitors somehow did not have a second when Osei-Tutu’s delivery was met by a flying Amario Cozier-Duberry just six yards out, who put his header wide.
Kodua came on just after the hour mark and the visitors were reduced to 10 men for the final 20 minutes when Xavier Simons was shown his second yellow card for fouling the substitute.
It looked like Town would fail in their attempts to level, Teden Mengi lashing over, but with 83 minutes gone Shayden Morris dinked over a cross and Milli Alli’s touch saw Kodua crash into the net for a point. It was his fourth goal of the season, all after coming off the bench.
