Liam Waldock’s second-half strike secured a 1-1 draw for visitors Boston United against Woking at the Kingfield Stadium.
Home keeper Will Jaaskelainen had kept Boston at bay in the first half, saving from Oisin Gallagher on four minutes then brilliantly stopping Frankie Maguire’s header on 20.
Woking, who went into the game unbeaten in six National League matches, snatched the opener against the run of play when Harry Beautyman fired home just past the half-hour mark.
But Boston recovered after the break and, moments after Jaaskelainen had pawed Waldock’s deflected effort over the bar, the same player pounced to pull his side level.
The visitors looked the most likely winners with Gallagher firing just wide, but Joshua Osude almost snatched it for Woking in added time when his shot hit the woodwork.
