Dunfermline halted a four-game winless run as goals from Barney Stewart and Chris Kane secured them a 2-0 home win against Raith Rovers.
Stewart’s close-range finish gave Dunfermline an interval lead and after Scott Brown hit the crossbar for Raith, Kane struck late on to seal the Pars’ third league win of the season and Raith’s third straight defeat.
Keith Bray’s early effort was well saved but Dunfermline went ahead in the 19th minute as Stewart turned the ball home following Jeremiah Mullen’s corner.
Home goalkeeper Billy Terrell denied Ross Matthews and Dylan Easton, and Brown’s superb long-range strike rebounded off the woodwork, before Dunfermline doubled their lead when Kane pounced inside the box.
