Luke Molyneux, Jordan Gibson and Billy Sharp saw Doncaster run out 3-1 winners over Bradford and inflict a first defeat of the League One season on the Bantams.
All four goals came in an action-packed first half with Rovers soaking up pressure from the visitors superbly in the second half to continue their own impressive start to the season.
Molyneux raced onto a brilliant cross from Gibson to head Rovers in front on six minutes.
Bradford found the equaliser on 12 minutes when Will Swan pounced to poke home from close range after Bobby Pointon’s cross squirmed under Rovers keeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala.
But Doncaster were back in front on 22 minutes when Gibson nicked the ball away from Joe Wright and slotted home past Sam Walker.
Rovers had daylight on 44 minutes when Sharp was released into the box by James Maxwell and showed trademark composure to finish.
Bradford pushed hard for a way back into the game in the second half but struggled for openings against resolute Doncaster.
