Lincoln and Wigan share spoils as both sides see red

Callum Wright helped Wigan secure a 2-2 draw away to Lincoln in an action-packed game.

Wigan forward Paul Mullin brought down a long ball early into proceedings, drove into the box, took it around George Wickens and slotted it into the empty net.

Lincoln were awarded a penalty on the half-hour mark after Christian Saydee fouled Ryley Towler in the box. James Collins stepped up and converted.

A couple of minutes later, Towler flicked on a corner to Collins at the back post, and he was on hand to poke it past Sam Tickle.

Five minutes into the second half, Saydee floated a pinpoint cross to Wright at the far post, and he headed it in from one yard out.

Saydee was shown a red card with just over 20 minutes remaining after he made a reckless challenge on Tom Bayliss.

Lincoln forward Rob Street also picked up a second yellow card for a high boot in the 77th minute.

Dara Costelloe had a late effort for Wigan, but his shot rebounded off the crossbar.
