Swindon soared into the automatic promotion places in League Two with a comfortable 3-1 victory over struggling Barrow at Holker Street.
Aaron Drinan, Paul Glatzel and substitute Princewill Ehibhatiomhan were all on target as Ian Holloway’s side made it five wins in their last six league games.
Lewis Shipley pulled one back for the Bluebirds, who went down to a fifth defeat in seven matches.
The Robins’ opener came in the second minute when Finley Munroe burst clear on the left and crossed for Drinan, who slotted home his third goal in as many games from six yards out.
Barrow striker Josh Gordon – making his second debut for the club after returning on loan from Walsall – should have equalised but headed wide from Tyler Walker’s cross.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 36th minute when Glatzel slotted home a low angled finish from 10 yards out after being set up by Darren Oldaker.
Barrow improved after the break but Ehibhatiomhan headed Swindon three in front from Drinan’s cross in the 77th minute before Shipley reduced the deficit with a deflected shot from inside the box.
