Maidenhead boost survival bid with draw against play-off hopefuls Rochdale

Maidenhead picked up a valuable point in their National League relegation battle after playing out a 1-1 draw with play-off hopefuls Rochdale at York Road.

Veteran forward Ian Henderson put the visitors ahead in the 16th minute when he found the finishing touch from Aidan Barlow’s cross.

Brendan Kiernan drew things level five minutes into the second half when he volleyed into the bottom corner.

There were second-half chances for both sides, but neither was able to find a winner.
