Liverpool join Arsenal and Newcastle in last four of Carabao Cup

Holders Liverpool held on to reach the Carabao Cup semi-finals with a slender 2-1 victory at managerless Southampton while Gabriel Jesus inspired an Arsenal fightback against Crystal Palace.
