CO TIPPERARY

Ladies Golf: Our Tuesday morning golf was a scramble and the winners were Hanora Cahill Connery, Mary Knightly, Louise Horgan and Annette Hunt. The winter league finished on Sunday December 3rd which was very closely contested and only won by 1 point. The winning team “Perky Putters” consisted of Captain Rochelle O’ Sullivan, Marie Horgan, Geraldine Ryan, Niamh Chadwick, Teresa Canny, Marie Graves and Catherine O’ Dwyer. They defeated the “Driver Diva’s”-Captain Amy O’ Sullivan, Margaret O’ Connell, Liz Higgins, Olive Ryan, Rena Ryan and Bernie Kennedy.
Christmas Hamper: Our Christmas Hamper competition was also concluded on Sunday December 3rd with the proceeds going to Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The winners were 1st Joanne Horgan 18+23=41 pts. 2nd Liz Higgins 23+15=38pts and 3rd is Breda Kennedy 18+18=36pts.
AGM: Reminder our AGM for the Ladies Club is at 6pm on Saturday December 9th followed by our Christmas party.
Mens Golf: Our Winter League will finish next Sunday December 10th. Please have your 4 cards played as all scores count the last week.
Our 3rd 9-hole sweep results were; in 1st place Aiden Skeffington with 23pts, 2nd Conor Moore with 22pts. Best Gross Brian Slattery with 19pts.
The ‘Twos’ winners were Conor Moore & Drew McLean each received €22 into their Shop Account. The 9-hole sweep will continue up until Christmas.
Seniors Golf: The results of last week’s 15-hole Champagne Scramble; in 1st place John Grogan, Pat O’Gorman, Liam Jones & Tom O’Donnell with 93pts, in 2nd place P J Maher, Tom Kennedy, Diarmuid O’Connor & Noel Gleeson with 91pts.
