More than 200 rising stars to take part in Limerick Boxing Cup

Largest boxing event to take place in Limerick this weekend

Rising Limerick boxing star Denny O'Neill, of St Francis BC, will be competing this weekend in the Limerick boxing cup

THE LIMERICK county boxing board will hold their biggest ever event this weekend in the TUS Sports Hall. 

The Limerick Boxing Cup which will take place over this Saturday and Sunday, November 18 and 19, will see over 210 amateur boxers from all all provinces converge for two top class day of amateur boxing featuring county provincial and national champions.

With 60 bouts per day being held in two rings it promises to be an extremely entertaining sports event.

A very large local entry from St Francis boxing club will be headed up by Denny O'Neill who at just thirteen years has already won three national titles and current Irish Junior champ.

Actions starts at 12:00pm Saturday and 11:30am Sunday in the TUS Sports Hall.
