IN PICTURES: Crowds watch on as Corbally United play Hyde Rangers in Limerick District League

A HEALTHY crowd was in attendance on as Hyde Rangers got the better of Corbally United on a 6-1 scoreline in the Munster Junior Cup in Seanchoill.

It’s 35 years since Hyde Rangers were in the open stages of the provincial tournament so they had no intention of letting the opportunity slip by.

They started their clash at fellow Premier A side Corbally Utd on the front foot and two replica goals both headed in by Richard Benn put the visitors in control inside fifteen minutes.

A superb goal by Evan Shine added to Hyde’s advantage after the restart and Ben Kennedy then made it 4-0. The hard-working Klorane Tabot-Ndip pulled one back for Corbally but Hyde tacked on another couple through strike partners Ben Kennedy and Evan Shine.

Photographer Brendan Gleeson was on hand to capture all the colour and action of the day for the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live as Hyde advanced to the next round.
