Dagenham made it back-to-back National League wins after second-half goals from Ryan Hill and Omar Mussa earned Ben Strevens’ side a 2-0 victory at Wealdstone.
Strevens’ men had been winless until Saturday’s narrow 1-0 triumph over London rivals Barnet, but they followed it up by claiming more bragging rights against an opponent from the capital.
After a goalless first 45 minutes at Grosvenor Vale, Dagenham broke the deadlock three minutes into the second half when Nikola Tavares burst forward and found Hill, who steered past Wealdstone goalkeeper Jed Ward.
The hosts pushed for an equaliser but Tavares’ fine last-ditch tackle denied Micah Obiero the chance to get a shot off on goal and the visitors secured the points with seven minutes left.
Mussa let fly and his effort was too powerful for Ward to help Dagenham move up to 13th.
