MANAGER Tommy Barrett takes charge of Treaty United for the 100th time tonight Friday as his charges take on Kerry FC in a crucial SSE Airtricity League First Division fixture at the Markets Field, 7.45pm

Treaty will return to competitive action this Friday as the league action took a break last weekend with the staging of the second round FAI Cup ties.

Barrett's Treaty side did play a friendly fixture against Premier Division Sligo Rovers at the Showgrounds on Thursday night of last week.

Goals from Owen Elding and Pedro Martelo saw Sligo secure a 2-0 victory.

Treaty United secured a precious 1-0 victory away to Finn Harps at Ballybofey in their most recent outing in the First Division.

Dean George's second half goal proved the difference between the sides as Treaty scored their first league win over Harps this season.

This was a timely victory for Treaty who had suffered defeats to both Longford Town and league pacesetters Galway United in their two previous league fixtures prior to kick-off.

Treaty moved up to eighth spot in the First Division table, five points off the promotion play-off places as a result of their win in Ballybofey. Friday's opponents Kerry FC prop up the table but have showed real signs of improvement.
