Title winner Oliver Plachta and his coaches
LIMERICK's Oliver Plachta from St Francis Boxing Club has claimed the Irish senior cadet title with a win over old foe Michael O'Reilly from Waterford.
In the lead up to securing his title, Plachta won three individual fights before the final.
The Crossnagala man first saw off Ben Millar of Enniskillen in the quarter final and followed that up with a semi final split decision win over Olan Twohig of Cork.
Oliver will now take his place with the National cadet team when squad training begins mid-August.
