Members of the Munster Wheelchair Hurling Camogie Club after winning the senior wheelchair hurling camogie All-Ireland title last year
THE MUNSTER round of the M. Donnelly Interprovincial Wheelchair Hurling Camogie League will take place this Saturday, July 1 at Mary Immaculate College in Limerick.
The four provinces will battle it out against each other for league points in a game where males and females play on the same teams.
Munster’s teams compete in both the junior and senior levels and won last year's event at the senior hurling camogie level.
Munster Wheelchair Hurling Camogie Club was founded over twelve of years ago and has since become increasingly more successful.
The team is made up of players with physical disabilities who, for whatever reason, cannot participate in an able-bodied sport and includes athletes from Limerick, Clare, Tipperary and Kerry.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to watch a different sport taking place in Limerick and begins at 10.30am.
