Treaty United look to get back on track as Finn Harps visit Limerick

Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett

TREATY United will look to get their bid to secure a promotion play-off place in the SSE Airtricity League First Division back on track when hosting Finn Harps in a crucial fixture at the Markets Field on this Friday evening, 7.45pm.

Treaty United saw their four-game winning run in the league abruptly halted by leaders Galway United at the Markets Field on Friday night in a 3-0 defeat.

The defeat has seen Tommy Barrett's Treaty side remain in sixth place in the First Division table, one point behind Athlone who occupy the final promotion play-off spot. Friday night's visitors to Limerick, Finn Harps, have had a disappointing start to the season and currently sit second-from-bottom in the league table.

Treaty made three changes to their starting line-up for the visit of Galway with the suspended Ben O’Riordan being replaced by Stephen Christopher, and with Martin Coughlan and Colin Conroy coming into the starting XI instead of Willie Armshaw and Conor Barry.

Friday's visitors to the Markets Field, Finn Harps, have had a slow start to the League of Ireland season and currently sit second-from-bottom in the league table, some five points behind Treaty United.

Harps suffered a 4-0 defeat away to Waterford FC last time out in the league.
