TREATY United will look to improve on a difficult start to the new SSE Airtricity League First Division season when hosting basement side Kerry FC at the Markets Field on this Friday night, 7.45pm.

It will be a second home league fixture in the space of four days for Tommy Barrett's Treaty United side following their 4-1 defeat to in-form Waterford FC at the Garryowen venue on Monday.

A hat-trick from Limerick native Ronan Coughlan put paid to any hopes a youthful Treaty side had of building on Friday’s 1-1 draw with Cobh Ramblers.

Treaty made six changes to the starting XI from the game with Cobh.

Monday night's result sees Treaty United sit second-from-bottom in the league table with one win from their opening 10 league fixtures.

Treaty played out a 1-1 draw with Kerry FC when the sides met at Mounthawk Park in early March.
